"Prison Nation" is the leading single off this EP, and it is loosely inspired by the culture of violence and oppression that the United States was built on and still bases itself upon; back then in the form of genocide and slavery, now in the form of police brutality and mass incarceration. Due to this inspiration, it carries a heavier tone than many of our tracks.

When it was only the main riff, a simple drum pattern and a loaded title, I sent "Prison Nation" to Tom (Evil Americans) to see what he could do. After he got the demo, we both kept working on the track until we wrote many different ideas stemming from that simple riff. When we put it back together, it became a beautiful, complex piece of music that both of us are very proud of.
